MAKING TRACKS
Walk and write songs with Samh
Making Tracks is an interactive walking, cycling, and songwriting project taking place over August and September of 2022. Singer-songwriter Sam Hodgson is inviting you to take part in writing songs about Dewsbury, Huddersfield and Mirfield for a special collection of songs which will be available on YouTube and social media.
Join him walking, songwriting, recording audio and video, and taking pictures of the local area. Inspired by his Masters thesis 'Songs of Place' and a pilot project 'Cycling Stories', Making Tracks will develop a continuing theme - celebrating life in Kirklees and Calderdale through songwriting and the outdoors!
